FAFP offers patients Medication Therapy Management (MTM). MTM allows patients to meet with a specially trained pharmacist to review all the medications that a patient is currently taking (prescribed, over-the-counter, and herbals/supplements) to ensure that they are:

 

1. Indicated - Is this medicine necessary or is there another medicine they should be taking?

2. Effective - Is this medicine working to meet the patient's health goals?

3. Safe - Is this medicine causing any side effects or interacting with other medicines?

4. Convenient - Is the patient able to afford the medicines and take them as prescribed?
